Gaming In Store
That's right, On Board Games has enough in store space to accomodate all of your gaming needs!
We have two 12'x4' green felted gaming tables with full terrain scenarios dividable into 4'x4' or 4'x6' gaming sections to meet all of your miniature gaming needs from Warhammer 40k to WarMachine to Mechwarrior, and more!
Are you a collectable card player? Magic: The Gathering is our most popular CCG and is played almost every day on our conveinient card tables. There is plenty of room to bring in your favorite CCG as we can seat upto 40 players at once!
On Board Games also has roleplayers covered. Come in and relax on any one of our 5 comfortable couches, and hold your next roleplaying session in store!
This is not NEARLY all we have going on at the store! We have played games of Settlers, Citidals, Werewolf, Axis and Allies, Risk, Apples to Apples, Killer Bunnies, Deflexion and the list goes on and on!
We do special orders! Any game we don't carry in stock we will try our hardest to get a hold of! Let us know what you want, give us a week, and hopefully you will get any and every game you are looking for.
In addition to all the other fun you can have in-store, we also have available a pool table and networked gaming computers. Come in and play some games!

We are truly proud to be DeKalb's ONLY game store, and to provide both the community and the college students with some of the greatest titles in miniatures, collectable cards, chess supplies, poker supplies, and board games! Also, we keep available plenty of space just for people to come in and play games, relax, and enjoy your day. On Board Games introduces OBG: By The Hour, a new list of hourly services offered in-store. We're still expanding the program but right now we have:

B/W Printing: $.1/page
NEW Pool table weekday rate: $1/hour

The Aurora has plunged Lorwyn into eternal night, transforming the once-idyllic plane into the eerie world of Shadowmoor. The gloom has transformed its denizens, too -- creatures of fable have become monsters from dark fairytales. Races and characters introduced in Lorwyn are back, but with twisted allegiances and new powers. On Board Games will be exploring this new dark set at it's RELEASE on MAY 2nd!
Play in our Sealed event that night at 6:00pm for the chance to win a Booster box! Ready to jump at the new dark adventures? Play in our midnight draft at 12:01am, May 2nd and be the first to play the set.
We'll also be kicking off our Shadowmoor Draft League that Saturday, May 3rd, at 1:00pm. Make sure to play in this event as there are ussually a ton of points on the line for this opening week! Can't make the 1pm draft? We'll have another draft at 7:00pm for everyone to dive deeper into this set's mysteries.
Starting 2008 we'll be hosting a number of Warhammer Fantasy and Warhammer 40K tournaments; many more than 2007! In addition to that we'll be starting up a 40K league that will run throughout the spring. Watch the forums or click the picture above to find out more!
